Seeing as I have literally JUST started my blog (yesterday), I have quite a limited range of things to talk about as today is a Sunday and we all know Sunday's are lazy days. Therefore, I've decided to speak to you about my high school prom, that happened on June 26th 2014.
Now, as I live in England it's pretty much rainy, cold and windy weather 85% of the time so I was expecting my prom day to consist of me carrying an umbrella around with me all day to protect my hair, makeup and dress from the rain. However, the weather turned out much better than expected and although it wasn't very warm, it was good enough for me.
Our prom was held at Macdonald Kilhey Court and myself and my closest friends from high school arrived in a large, red 'London' bus - we decided to make a memorable entrance! It was definitely one of the greatest days of my life so far, and I felt so lucky that my parents could afford to splash out and treat me to exactly the dress, shoes and bag that I wanted... lucky for them, they won't have to repeat the process of spending so long trying to find the perfect dress as their remaining child is my brother who I doubt will be as bothered about prom as I was.
Below I have included pictures of my shoes, bag, a close of up of hair and makeup and my dress. I know that my prom was a while back, however if I would've had my blog back then, I would have chosen to blog about it and so thought that as I do now, that I would!
I am a very lucky girl and I am very grateful for all the time and effort my parents put into this day, making it as special and memorable as possible.
Although this happened in June, I hope you still enjoyed reading about my prom.
Love, Hannah x
